Grants: 2009

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In 2009, we successfully launched the Wireless Innovation Project. This Project is a competition to seek the best wireless innovation that can make a social impact around the world. Our first set of winners this year produced impressive technologies that now have the potential to make a significant impact in developing countries. We look forward to supporting additional innovations in future competitions.

We also continued with our local grantmaking to support the communities where our employees live and work; our grants were mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Denver Area.

Our grants for 2009 totaled $895,188.95. This report lists all grants made by the foundation in the amounts of $5,000 or more. Please keep in mind that the following grants may not be indicative of future funding decisions.
